Hi guys,

Just giving the heads up my pc overnight blue screened after installing the latest nvidia drivers. They were only released yesterday so keep an eye out for reviews before thinking about updating... optimised for The Witcher 3 so doesn't benefit me (going back to the GTA5 previous driver 350.12)

On Mon 18/05/2015 15:46:22 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\051915-12578-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: nvlddmkm.sys (nvlddmkm+0x82981C)
Bugcheck code: 0x116 (0xFFFFE001CC9674D0, 0xFFFFF801EAC2981C, 0xFFFFFFFFC000009A, 0x4)
Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys
product: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 352.86
company: NVIDIA Corporation
description: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 352.86
Bug check description: This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 352.86 , NVIDIA Corporation).
Google query: NVIDIA Corporation VIDEO_TDR_ERROR

Yeah I've been having some crashing doing file transfers though recently and I can't figure out the problem.

System file checker found a lot of corrupted system files so i've repaired them now, and whilst at it did all latest windows updates, SMART tests on hard disks... basically updated every peripheral driver as well.

The last crashes I was having was with afd.sys but i've repaired that now.

See how it goes back on the previous driver.
